We're keeping the desert connected

DISCOVER HOW
IDA Project Area

The Australian desert is one of the largest and most culturally connected and environmentally significant areas on the planet.

It has been cared for and expertly managed over thousands of years by Indigenous minds, hearts and hands. Today, a network of Indigenous rangers are sharing information, practices and working together to provide the highest standard of stewardship and care for the desert.

By strengthening the connections between rangers we can ensure that the desert will be well protected meaning that future generations of Australians will reap the benefits of learning from and connecting to a healthy country.

Indigenous Desert Alliance Foundation

The IDA Foundation provides grant-based funding to Indigenous desert ranger teams to protect and restore our globally significant living desert.
