It has been cared for and expertly managed over thousands of years by Indigenous minds, hearts and hands. Today, a network of Indigenous rangers are sharing information, practices and working together to provide the highest standard of stewardship and care for the desert.
By strengthening the connections between rangers we can ensure that the desert will be well protected meaning that future generations of Australians will reap the benefits of learning from and connecting to a healthy country.
"The IDA is an organisation that remains true to its roots, ensuring that the voice of desert rangers is being heard louder and clearer with every passing year."
