These fire games let you practice looking after outstations, cultural places, and important animals in the desert. You can make fire breaks and burn the grass to stop bushfires.
You can see how the weather, wind, and more spinifex grass make the fire do different things. You can also see what happens when there is lots of buffel grass, and how that changes fire behaviour.
Watch the video below for a visual demonstration of the game, or start playing now.
Fire can be used as a tool to protect important things on Country from bushfires. There are three stages to the game:
- Stage 1 helps you protect an outstation.
- Stage 2 helps you protect an outstation and a special place nearby.
- Stage 3 helps you protect special water places and important animals.
Remember, this is a game and fire might behave a bit different when you are on Country. Also, make sure you talk to elders or experienced rangers before burning country.
Click on the links below and have a play. You can change how much grass there is, which way the wind comes from and how hot and dry it is (called Fire Danger in the game).
Try using breaks and burning to keep the houses and important places safe. Good luck!
