Building Resilience
Resilience is and has been a critical theme for the development of our five-year strategic plan for the IDA (2023-2028). The new plan is based around our three ‘strong’ strategic pillars:
- Strong and United Voice for the Desert
- Strong Ranger Teams
- Strong Organisation
Building climate resilience is a cross cutting theme across the three pillars and is highlighted in many of the activity summaries in this report.
2022/23 has offered multiple reasons for celebration, indicating that the IDA is effectively working toward our long-term goal of helping our members to thrive in our globally significant desert. This Annual Report provides numerous examples of our collaborative efforts with members in achieving this objective.
