"We share the same waterholes around Ngururrpa and Ngurra Kayanta, like our ancestors was walking."
Join the neighbouring Ngururrpa and Ngurra Kayanta ranger teams as they share their story of Yagga Yagga community, visit important sites and work together to burn and protect Country supported by Desert Support Services and the IDA.
Right way fire is about the right people, in the right place and the right time burning country in a careful and culturally informed way to keep country healthy, protecting plants, animals and special places. The IDA's Right Way Fire program enables Traditional Owners to see, enjoy and access remote desert areas while sharing knowledge and looking after country using the key tool of fire.
